HIOPOS SOLUTIONS is a company that manufactures global solutions for companies and establishments in the hospitality and retail sectors. HIOPOS was born in 2010 by A&K Holding ( ICG Group ), a group created in 1985 by the founding president Andreu Pi Pocurull, with the aim of manufacturing technological solutions to facilitate the work of companies and users in the hospitality sector. , commerce and tourism.
ICG began its journey by manufacturing its own software with Theos, Unix and MS-DOS technology. In 1992, the software manufacturing process was restructured and began industrially, creating a distribution channel for ICG products throughout Spain.
With the appearance of the first Windows, in 1994, ICG developed the first visual and tactile software for the hospitality industry and in 1995, it designed the first touch point of sale terminal in the world, which revolutionized both the technology sector and the way the company works. hospitality and tourism. This new technological management model crossed borders and contributed to the international expansion of the ICG brand and its products.
The ICG Group, through constant innovation, has been developing throughout its history a great process of international implementation and high added value technologies, which has made ICG a benchmark in the sector.
In 2010 he created HIOPOS SOLUTIONS and began a strategic plan to face the future. Thus, the organization makes a significant contribution of resources, both in human capital and economic investment, in R&D&I to design its own cloud platform with cutting-edge technology and build from scratch, but with the knowledge acquired over 40 years. of experience, all the necessary tools to have global solutions that respond to the current and future needs of the most demanding clients.
Currently, the Group, on the one hand, maintains ICG solutions under the Windows system, and on the other, has the new HIOPOS cloud technology, which is marketed under a Software as a Service regime. As both solutions, ICG and HIOPOS, are proprietary, it also has the necessary tools to carry out the migration from the Windows system to the cloud system.
